"Independence holidays"

I don't normally celebrate "independence holidays", I don't really care about the celebration of the republic.
In general, during this time I take holidays to enjoy with my family, my boyfriend, friends and relax my self.

What I like about this time, is that I have many days to do fun things.

And I hate that the media and advertising make an invitation to people to drink alcohol excessively and spend money in large quantities.

Also, I feel that these dates are only a tranquilizer for citizenship, as Violeta Parra says in her song: "I sing the difference": Warning the audience that will swallow the purgative, as we celebrate the most gallant 18°. The flag is a tranquilizer.
These are some reasons why these dates are not to my liking. And I don't take the purgative that shops and the government offer.

But although, I think this way, my family celebrates these dates, they are not nationalists but consider these days as an opportunity to meet and have a good time, so we get together for lunch on the 18th and in the evening we enjoy a delicious barbecue .

And that's it!

Thank you for read...

My best holidays

My best holidays was this year, in March 2012, I saved money throughout the year 2011 and I went to Peru with my boyfriend, it was spectacular, because it was a plan we had from.

We went by plane to Arica and then we traveled by taxi to Tacna, then we took a bus to Arequipa, we were there about 1 week, we visited many places and also we met some friendly people.

Then we went to Cuzco by bus, here we also visited beautiful places and we meet very nice and friendly people.
During the stay in Cuzco we visited Machu Picchu, we took a four day trip, first in  cycling and then we walk for many places to reach Aguas Calientes. Everithing we visited was truly spectacular, we visited the citadel (Machu Picchu) and Huayna Picchu which was really beautiful.

Then we returned to Cuzco, took our backpacks and went to Puno, there we visited the islands of Uros, and then we went to Copacabana in Bolivia. Then we returnned to Arica and we stayed there for 2 days, with a very lovely family. Finally we arriving to Santiago and... "Welcome to reality".

These were great, spectacular, wonderful and unforgettable holidays, for all I lived there.

A country I would like to visit

The country that I would like to visit is Cuba, because I would like to learn about their culture, their society, education, and of course I would like to visit its beaches and the night clubs.

In Cuba I would like to visit schools, beaches, I hope to  know the people and their culture.
Also I would like to visit Cuba with my boyfriend because I enjoy travelling with him and we like to visit such places, eating out delicious food, and together getting to know south American countries, and one of these country is Cuba.

I think that I will go to Cuba, when I start working, I will borrow some money from the bank, and I will also save some money to get to know this county. So, I will have to visit for some time before I go there.

I wouldn't like to live in Cuba, because first I want to travel around the countries of Latin America and then I'll choose a country to live.

But, I think that I would like working in schools in Cuba to learn their methods of education and learn from them.

MY FIRST SEMESTER

The first semester of this year was very intense, because it is the last year in my college career.

Honestly at the beginning I was scared to enter the working world, I was very insecure about my vocational training and felt I couldn't do everything I had to do, and as I had to start my thesis as well, I was very stressed.

But with passing of days, I realized I could do my job and comply with my personal goals, and also make some progress on my thesis work in  my  professional practice.
I think that it was very good to get to do make the practice in a kindergarten where the people received me cozily. So I could develop my practice process satisfactorily.

So, when I think of the first semester I think I had many concerns and fears, some are still present this semester and others are not. The most important learning is that I could do all the work, I ended up very happy.
